Volunteers Welcome!

Volunteers play a crucial role for the Van Wert County Humane Society. Their contribution & work directly impacts the success and continuing support of the animals. We simply wouldn't exist without their dedication, time, and energy. Our volunteers care for the needs of our shelter and animals, as well as provide a human interaction and socialization element.
​
Volunteer orientations are held the first Wednesday of every month at 6 pm at the shelter.
